A Council of Nature Watchers.

Based in Kolkata, Prakriti Samsad is engaged in Study and Conservation of Nature for the last four decades. It organizes field trips, nature camps, nature watch and awareness programs. Regular Monthly meetings are held on last Saturday of the month, where members and experts shares their experience with digital projections.

Prakriti Samsad participates in various Studies and Conservation projects funded by the Government and non-Government Organization including WWF-I (the Worldwide Fund for Nature - India) Such programmes are open to all nature lovers. However we always welcome serious nature lovers to be a Member.

While we have a treasure of resources in terms of experience and expertise, we do need funds to run and modernise our operations. That is where you can make a contribution.
